PETERBOROUGH-based contact centre Fusion has announced the appointment of a new site manager at its Bretton-based premises. Emma Rodulson-Ellis (left) will head up the contact centre operation, which handles more than 1.4 million customer enquiries each year for insurance brands including Budget, ibuyeco and Post Office.

This latest senior-level appointment follows the news that Fusion will be expanding its Bretton contact centre by an additional 60 new employees over the next few months. The site already houses over 400 employees.

Ms Rodulson-Ellis has been with the BGL Group for almost two years, working with the company’s affinity business, Junction, as a relationship manager for its HSBC and Marks & Spencer accounts.

She said, “After joining the BGL Group two years ago, I quickly realised that the company is constantly striving for excellence. Its contact centre operation is extremely successful and currently going through some exciting new developments – so it is a great time to be joining Fusion.”

Prior to joining the BGL Group Ms Rodulson-Ellis worked in a variety of contact centre environments within the banking and telecoms industries. In addition, she spent seven years working for Barclays as a bank manager and business banker.

Jason Turner, associate director of Fusion Contact Centre Operations, commented, “Emma brings a wealth of Junction affinity experience to her new job and a good understanding of the Fusion operation. Emma is one of the eight employees currently undertaking the Group’s High Potential Programme and has a proven track record in achieving sales and customer service targets. We look forward to working with her to drive Fusion Peterborough’s performance over the coming months.”
