FUSION Contact Centre Services, part of major city employer the BGL Group, has appointed a new Contact Centre manager. Kate Lampett joins Fusion from the Royal Bank of Scotland where she held various roles over eight years; most recently as Contact Centre manager for Churchill Insurance.

This latest management appointment follows early 2012 growth for the Bretton-based contact centre, which handles insurance enquiries for some of the UK’s leading financial services brands. More than 200 new roles have been filled in the last 12 months and, as part of her remit, Kate will help support this new group and ensure employees are delivering the best possible customer service across multiple brands.

Richard Crane, head of site at Fusion Peterborough, said: “As a growing business it is important that our management team continues to evolve with some of the industry’s best talent. Kate’s experience and industry knowledge is second to none and she joins Fusion at both a challenging and exciting time for the business.”

Kate Lampett, Fusion Contact Centre manager added: “Fusion’s dynamic and fast-paced environment really attracted me to the role. People here are passionate about the brands they represent and the customer service they deliver – so I am really excited to be joining the company.”

Fusion handles over 8.4 million customer enquiries every year for brands including Budget Car and Van Insurance, Bennetts Motorbike Insurance and Bradford & Bingley Insurance.
