THE Peterborough Evening Telegraph newspaper is to be published just once a week instead of daily and some advertising roles could be relocated to Sheffield.

A bigger print edition of the newspaper will be published on Thursdays only as Johnston Press begins a major relaunch programme of its 170 paid-for local newspapers.

The company has also decided to centralise its contact centres in Sheffield.
