Solar energy for secondary school

DURING the recent summer break, academy secondary school Arthur Mellows Village College employed solar specialists, Manor Solar, to install PV panels to the school building, providing a clean source of renewable energy for a proportion of the school’s energy needs.

RACHEL Huxley has been appointed as the new chief executive of Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT). Previously head of operations at PECT since 2006, Rachel has been acting chief executive since the departure of Hugh Cripps in December 2010.
