A FUN night out with work colleagues could help raise funds for two local charities.

An Ultimate Sports Quiz and Auction will be held at the Esporta Health Club, Thorpe Wood, Peterborough on November 13 and the organisers are appealing to Peterborough businesses to support the event.

Proceeds from the evening will go to ASBAH (the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus) and Free Kicks – both Peterborough United charities of the year helping disabled children and their families.

The quiz will be hosted by Paul Stainton, presenter of the Radio Cambridgeshire Peterborough Breakfast Show, who said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in sport to raise money for local good causes while having a great night out.”

The quiz will have questions for all abilities, with sound, music and a picture rounds. Up to 30 teams will be able to take part with up to six members in each team. Tickets include a welcome drink as well as fish and chips – to feed your brainpower.

There will also be an auction with a range of exciting sporting items that “money can’t buy” up for grabs.
