Coloplast deepens commitment to Lynch Wood Park HQ with expansion

ASSET and property management company, FI Real Estate Management has announced that specialist healthcare products provider, Coloplast has expanded its head office facility at Lynch Wood Park, Peterborough with the signing of an additional 5,402 sq ft of office space.

The move strengthens the medical solutions provider’s commitment to its existing Peterborough home and brings the firm’s total occupancy to 42,000 sq ft. This latest agreement follows a 4,602 sq ft expansion last year to support the company’s rapid growth.

Occupancy at Lynch Wood has now reached 90 per cent, with only 25,000 sq ft remaining. This comes as landlord FIREM embarks on a multi-million-pound investment programme, which will provide additional Grade A office accommodation, a new restaurant and the introduction of an on-site gym later this year.

A spokesperson for FI Real Estate Management said, “We’re pleased to see Coloplast taking additional space at Lynch Wood Park. Not only are they fantastic tenants but it’s a clear indicator of how the business community here in Peterborough is thriving.”

The joint letting agents for Lynch Wood Park are Savills and Cushman & Wakefield.

William Rose, director, Savills said, “We are delighted that Coloplast have decided to take additional space at Lynch Wood Pouse to aid the firm’s continued expansion. This latest deal sees the well-established local company reaffirm its commitment to the city, having already taken a short term warehouse unit at Axis Park whilst its new 135,000 sq ft facility is built at Gateway Peterborough”.

Coloplast specialises in the development of ostomy, continence, urology and wound care solutions for people with intimate healthcare needs. Its portfolio of products includes stoma and bladder products, as well as urologist surgical devices.

Having opened its first UK office in 1978, Coloplast established its base at Lynch Wood Park in 2009, and now employs 11,000 people globally, of which 300 are based at the Peterborough site.
