TWO young Peterborough-based entrepreneurs have created a business that sends customers a selection of American sweets by post. Taffy Mail was launched by Jonathan Crouch and Benjamin Jones with the help of Ignite Peterborough (a project delivered by Opportunity Peterborough) and is the UK’s only subscription service dealing exclusively in transatlantic treats.

After six months of successful trading, Taffy Mail is now looking to expand its service to offer two new sizes as part of its monthly subscription model. In addition to the standard box size that Taffy Mail offers, there will also be a smaller box size for those with a more modest craving for American sweets, alongside a larger box featuring a number of additional items and even products such as cereal, cookies and savoury snacks. Coinciding with this is the launch of a new-look website – taffymail.co.uk, which includes a blog featuring reviews of candy along with delicious recipes to make your monthly box go even further.
