Peterborough professionals launch new way of gaining business

A GROUP of Peterborough-based companies is launching a new professional initiative which aims to create new business for its members.
Called 1stop4business, it is not a conventional networking group but a co-operative marketing campaign by professional service providers in and around Peterborough. It plans to provide a one stop shop for companies seeking these services.
1stop4business is being launched with an event starting at 17:30 on Tuesday 3 February 2015 at the offices of Taylor Rose Law, Northminster House, Northminster, Peterborough PE1 1YN.
The keynote speakers are:
Adrian Cassidy, a former Olympic rower with Team GB Olympic who broke his back on his stag night but walked out of hospital six months later destined to become chief coach of Irish Rowing at the 2012 Olympics and now a corporate coach and team performance professional working with businesses.
Tom Hennessy, senior economic development manager with Opportunity Peterborough.
There will also be some predictions of what 2015 may hold for local businesses in areas such as technology, law, employment, marketing and finance.
In addition there will be details of 1stop4business, how it will work, what professional services companies might gain from membership and how they can join.
Admission to the event is free but will be by invitation only. To secure an invitation please contact 1stop4business chairman David Dixon of Personnel Matters by email at admin@1stop4business.org or phone 01733 347301.
