Peterborough video producer supports schools initiative

A LOCAL initiative to encourage businesses in Peterborough to get involved in school career events has received a boost from a local video producer.

Martyn Moore, a film-maker based in the city, produced the film to be shown at the Opportunity Peterborough Skills Summit last December. The five-minute video is called Get Involved and it explains the different ways that businesses can engage with students. It includes a number of interviews with city employers.

Mr Moore said, “I was delighted to be given the opportunity to create a film for the Skills Summit. Having supported careers days and similar events in the past, it was great to provide my professional services to create a film that will continue to encourage other businesses to get involved.”

The film can be seen on the Opportunity Peterborough YouTube channel and at Videopeterborough.co.uk, the showcase website for more of Martyn Moore’s work, including this time-lapse film showing the re-modelled Cathedral Square.
