NORTHLIGHT Media, the Peterborough-based company that produces videos, photography and written copy for some of the country’s biggest brands, has been named Best Video Agency 2019 for the east of England region by Corporate Vision magazine.
NorthLight Media was set up ten years ago by former journalist and magazine editor Martyn Moore. The business was originally built around copy-writing and stills photography but in 2010 Mr Moore brushed-up his 25-year-old skills as a film cameraman and started to create short videos for businesses. Cross Keys Homes, the city council and the Nene Park Trust were among his early clients.
As the business grew, more work has come from outside the region. Much of Mr Moore’s work is for national clients based around the country and he does several films a year for the Made in Britain organisation, where he also works as a consultant.
A spokesperson for Corporate Vision magazine said, “Our winners are decided by a combination of votes gathered from our network of respected industry partners and our own rigorous in-house research, performed by our dedicated network of industry insiders and corporate specialists.
“Each award is carefully scrutinised, from a nominee’s region to their performance over the past 12 months, their commitment to innovation, their methods and even their competition to ensure that only the most deserving firms walk away with one of our prestigious trophies.
“With constant shifts within the industry, it is vital that firm stay ahead of the curve and to adapt to the trials and tribulations of the industry. Through this awards programme recognise innovation at its finest whilst rewarding those who influence, engage and endeavour to provide the very best services.”
Martyn Moore, director of NorthLight Media, told Peterborough Business, “Nobody was more surprised than me when I was told we’d won the Best Video Agency for the east of England. It’s true that we pride ourselves on our customer service and attention to detail. We reinvest a lot of money in the latest technology and we know how to tell a great story on screen.
“Obviously we are thrilled with the award. In fact, I think it’s incredible.”
