Photographer reaches dizzy heights, without leaving the ground

Aerial view

PETERBOROUGH photographer Dave Smith uses a trailer-mounted telescopic mast to create aerial photographs while his feet stay firmly on the ground.

Mr Smith’s camera is mounted on the top of the mast and controlled from the ground by computer, providing a unique perspective of buildings, events and groups of people. His innovative technique eliminates the enormous costs of traditional aerial photography and avoids the health and safety problems associated with having a photographer working at height.

Mr Smith said, “While being a new company based in Peterborough my photographic experience goes back some years and has been a personal passion. This passion ensures that all photographs are taken with care and with an eye for detail.”

Prices for mast photography start at £75 for six images at different heights. For more information, see www.periscopephotography.co.uk
