CONDERS Subaru has loaned Peterborough United a brand new Legacy diesel for use by club officials. And the arrival of the all-wheel-drive estate couldn’t have been better timed, what with the recent wintery weather in the region.
“It is our way of showing our support to our local club,” said Conders aftersales manager, Alastair Hayden. “We are delighted to be able to show the club and its supporters that Conders Garage can offer a very professional yet personal service.”
“We know the club will benefit from having a safe and reliable AWD diesel car in the winter months, particularly if recent weather patterns are to be repeated. The Legacy will allow them to honour their various commitments and allow staff to arrive in safety and style,” Alastair said. “Conders garage will be building on this relationship in the coming months with various events and activities that will be tied into the club, and we look forward to an exciting 12 months ahead.”
Peterborough United’s commercial manager, Alex Harris, said, “We are very grateful to Alastair and the team at Conders Garage for their support. The vehicle will be vitally important to the work that the behind-the-scenes team undertake on a daily basis, and we look forward to building the relationship with Conders Garage in 2010.”
