PETERBOROUGH-based haulage firm A.D. Boyes Logistics (UK) Ltd has announced its intention to implement exciting expansion plans in 2016, following the continued success of its UK-wide haulage services.

The firm’s owner, Adrian Boyes (pictured), founded the business in 2007 and provides logistical assistance to a number of well-known clients, as well as specialising in the refrigerated delivery of chilled goods. Having navigated the firm through the global recession and reacting to fluctuating oil prices, he now heads up an 11-strong team and a fleet of 9 trucks from the company’s base in Peterborough.

As part of the business’ growth strategy, the firm has partnered with Hitachi Capital Invoice Finance to protect its cash flow and free up company funds in order to invest in new staff, assets and pursue new contract opportunities.

Adrian Boyes, managing director of A.D. Late payment continues to be big issue in the haulage industry and this, coupled with unforeseen expenses such as vehicle maintenance or a change in fuel prices can breed uncertainty, denting firms’ ability to invest.
