A PETERBOROUGH-based company that supplies medical support to TV and filming operations is looking for some unused business premises to help it expand.
Advance Medical Solutions (UK) also provides covert staff for society events and large functions. The company plans to expand into providing ambulance services but first needs to be Quality Care Commission (CQC) registered.
Brian Norkett, director of Advance Medical Solutions, explained how a business with a spare unit could help: “We currently operate from my home address but in order for us to be CQC registered we need to operate from a unit! It would take between 10 weeks and six months to be fully CQC registered which means we would be paying rent on a unit we cannot operate from until CQC registration is complete.
“My question to any Peterborough business would be if any have a unit they are currently not using with it being sat empty that they could allow us to use in order to become CQC registered in return we would look after the unit, maintain it and on completion of CQC and successful completion would pay for continued use of the facility and contribution towards previous use whilst becoming CQC’d.
“I understand if it is not possible but I also understand that there are some businesses who are more than happy to help small businesses get a head start.”
