VIRGIN Media has opened a new state-of-the-art office in Peterborough, further strengthening its commitment to the city.
The UK’s award-winning TV and ultrafast broadband provider has moved to Elmstead, Southgate Park, Orton Southgate, which will house up to 240 employees.
Opened by Virgin Media CEO Tom Mockridge (photographed left in smart/casual black jeans as he snips the ribbon), the 2,160 sq ft office will be an important hub for the company’s business operations, which supports services to businesses, small and large.
Julie Agnew, director, business customer operations at Virgin Media, said, “We are delighted to be bringing together our business operations to this modern facility. The move further strengthens our commitment to Peterborough as an important strategic location for Virgin Media Business.”
The new Elmstead office will be equated with advanced digital infrastructure, which will be used by staff and visitors to the site.
