Aleksandra jets off to Seychelles as Coloplast’s Peterborough employee of the year

Alex-with-trophyALEKSANDRA Wilczynska (left), a deputy team leader at Peterborough-based medical devices company Coloplast (www.coloplast.com), will be jetting off to the Seychelles this month for an all-expenses-paid holiday with her boyfriend after being named as the company’s Peterborough Employee of the Year.

Coloplast provides products and services that make life easier for people with very personal and private medical conditions. Polish-born Aleksandra, who has lived in Peterborough for six years, plays a key role in developing the company’s relationship with the NHS – one of Coloplast’s key customers.

She deals with the administration of prescriptions, ensuring that the right products are despatched on time to the nurses and medical specialists who need them. Her job requires her to work across a number of departments to co-ordinate activities and provide a ‘seamless’ service to health professionals and their patients.

Aleksandra said: “To be named as the Peterborough Employee of the Year is a really big achievement. I am really, really pleased. But it has only been possible because of all the people I work with and the team spirit which means everyone at Coloplast is focused on meeting the needs of our users.”

Coloplast UK director of key accounts Jeremy Taylor said: “Aleksandra is an outstanding ‘team player’ who is always willing to do whatever it takes to ensure we deliver the highest possible standard of service. It was a pleasure to present her with this award and I hope she has a great time in the Seychelles.”
