THE Peterborough-based online retailer Kiddicare has been bought by supermarket giant Morrisons for £70million. Food and grocery retailer Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc announced on Tuesday February 15 that it had acquired Kiddicare, together with the rights to its highly regarded technology platform.

Council to spare Westcombe Engineering

WESTCOMBE Engineering, the Peterborough City Council-controlled company that provides engineering work for people with disabilities, will not be closed down. Council leader Marco Cereste said he intends to refer the matter back to the cabinet in November to overturn a decision to close the business, taken in 2007.
