Ten years of financial services – it’s a numbers game

Beacon Financial, Peterboroughbusiness.co.ukA KIMBOLTON financial services company has been in business for ten years and, like all good number crunchers, it has produced a tally.

Beacon Financial Limited (staff photo left) was formed a decade ago by Tony Larkins (centre, front) and as part of its tenth anniversary celebrations the company has published some of the statistics it thinks have helped make it great.

For example:

  • 45,546 cups of coffee
  • 35,256 cups of tea
  • 27,871 glasses of water
  • 15,203 biscuits eaten
  • 5,307 meetings held
  • 3,270 satisfied clients
  • 117 staff birthdays
  • 5 portfolios
  • 4 award nominations
  • 3 chartered titles
  • 2 clients facing companies
  • and 1 managing director

Some of the numbers are educated estimates. Asked for his comments on why Beacon had been successful, Mr Larkins said, “Beacon Financial Ltd was formed to give clients the peace of mind that the advice given is the best available from the whole market – this is something that can only be achieved by being totally independent.”
