PETERBOROUGH-based comparison website comparethemarket.com has appointed Jeremy Chadwick (left) to the role of commercial director. Mr Chadwick will be responsible for commercial strategy and development, covering all product categories within the company, including insurance and money.

Mr Chadwick will help to maintain comparethemarket.com’s customer focus. A significant part of the role involves ensuring that the brands on the comparison panel deliver for customers, making it even easier for them to find cheaper deals on their insurance and household bills. He will be working closely with comparethemarket.com’s partners to get the best deals available for customers and ensure that the panel continues to develop.

Mr Chadwick joins comparethemarket.com from Zurich Insurance plc, where he was head of accident and health for Europe. While at Zurich, he led pan-European underwriting, operational and distribution functions for his line of business. Previously he has held senior leadership roles at Aegon, simplyhealth and Barclays Insurance.
