Customer relationship management is growing

wheelerwebSTAMFORD-based customer relationship management (CRM) systems and support consultancy, Contact Edge, has appointed a new business development manager.
Simon Wheeler (left) will work closely alongside Contact Edge founder and MD, Don Wiid, to support companies in attracting, winning and retaining more customers.

Don Wiid told Peterborough Business, “Any CRM system is only as good as the thought and planning that goes into it, so I’m delighted to have Simon Wheeler working alongside me. As an experienced marketing professional, Simon knows all about effective strategies for lead generation.”

“Businesses that are still using spreadsheets to manage relationships with clients and prospects are missing out. Modern, automated systems that identify and target warm leads from email and sales campaigns, make the business of selling so much easier and more efficient for both parties.”

Simon’s appointment comes hot on the heels of a new piece of business. Contact Edge has been chosen by The Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Enterprise Partnership to devise and implement a new strategy for managing its relationships with businesses across the region.

Don Wiid said: “I’m thrilled that Contact Edge has been appointed by the Local Enterprise Partnership, as I’m a big believer in supporting the regional business community. With Simon on board, we’re in a great positon to take on more projects like this.”

You can meet the Contact Edge team at the Cambridge B2B exhibition at Quy Mill Hotel on 24 September and at the Peterborough B2B exhibition on 21 October 2015.
