Fusion recognises excellence with VIP employee event

Managing Director of Fusion, David Thompson, congratulates employees for their hard work and dedication.

MAJOR Peterborough employer, Fusion Contact Centre Services, has celebrated the success and dedication of its employees by hosting a prestigious VIP event.

The 20 employees, who were selected by their managers and co-workers for their achievements this year, were joined by a further 20 staff members from Fusion’s other sites in Coventry and Sunderland. BGL Group’s Chief Executive, Peter Winslow, and the Fusion Executive Team accompanied the group for a celebratory lunch at The Bell Hotel in Peterborough. As an added bonus, 10 of the attendees had the opportunity to win £50.00 worth of luxury shopping vouchers.

This year, Fusion has experienced considerable growth and now employs more than 600 people at the site. Events like the VIP lunch recognise members of staff who have consistently delivered excellent customer service for the insurance brands Fusion supports. Fusion now deals with over 700,000 calls each month for some of the UK’s leading financial services organisations.

Richard Crane, Head of Site for Fusion Peterborough, said: “As a business that prides itself in delivering high quality customer service, Fusion focuses a lot of attention on employee development to ensure our people have the right skills and tools to deliver great customer service.”

Beverly Stewart, Fusion Peterborough employee, commented: “Working in the customer services sector for some of the UK’s big financial services brands is exciting but is also extremely busy and challenging. I was delighted to be invited to the VIP event – to have my work recognised in this way was great.”
