New EE store opens in Peterborough

DIGITAL communications company EE has opened a new store in Peterborough. Located on Serpentine Green, it increases EE’s retail presence in the area to three stores, and creates seven new jobs for the area.

Shailesh Vara, MP for North West Cambridgeshire, said: “I am very pleased that EE will be opening a new store in Serpentine Green. As well as providing a welcome boost to the local jobs market, the store will help to ensure that local people and businesses are digitally connected.”

Deirdre Burns, retail director at EE, said: “We’re excited to be expanding our presence in Peterborough and to create new jobs for the local community. New store openings such as this, together with our two newly-opened UK call centres, reinforce our commitment to providing our customers with the best possible service as we head into 2015.”

Visitors to the store will be able to explore a range of products and 4GEE plans with guidance from EE staff, who will help them to choose the option best suited to their individual digital lifestyles. This more personalised approach to customer experience is the latest demonstration of EE’s commitment to becoming number one for service in the UK telecoms sector.

The area benefits from double speed 4GEE, allowing residents to enjoy seamless web browsing and HD video streaming – whether they’re visiting the cathedral, or exploring everything its museum and art gallery has to offer.
