Peterborough-based Henderson Brown continues to grow with third appointment in six months

Director Steven Henderson (left) welcomes Henderson Brown’s two newest recruits – Liz Orpwood and Charlie Palmer Bester – to the company’s new offices in Peterborough.

PETERBOROUGH-based food sector recruitment specialist Henderson Brown is going from strength to strength with its third new appointment in less than six months.

Charlie Palmer Bester has joined Henderson Brown as a senior recruiter – a job he is ideally qualified for, having spent more than ten years working in the fresh produce and horticulture industry. Charlie will be working closely with clients and candidates to ensure that the best possible placements are made.

Charlie previously worked at a large fresh produce grower in a commercial capacity and has experience of both managing people and account management.

Charlie said: “Throughout my career I have worked in fresh produce and horticulture and I look forward to being able to use my knowledge of these industries to the benefit of Henderson Brown, its clients and candidates.

“I have always enjoyed the challenges of people management so this new position will enable me to focus my efforts on that area. It is a natural progression from my previous role and I am looking forward to the new challenge.”

Steven Henderson, director of Henderson Brown, added: “We are pleased to welcome Charlie to the team, which is growing at quite a rate! Our recent growth, which has seen us move to new, larger offices, is essentially down to the success of our business plan: to take a ‘no nonsense’ approach to recruitment in the food and horticulture industries.

“We feel that Charlie will play a key role in the further development of Henderson Brown and will help us to deliver on our promise of providing a real knowledge of the food and fresh produce industry.”
