Balfour Law and Hunt & Coombs Solicitors have announced plans to merge their personal injury and civil litigation teams.
The merger, officially due to take place on April 7, will bring the total number of directors to 13, in addition to 71 lawyers and support staff.
Managing director of Balfour Law, Naina Tilney said, “Our clients will now have access to a wider and more in depth range of services, supported by teams and resources that are among the best in the area. It is an exciting time for us all. We are looking forward to combining forces as we join one of the leading firms in Peterborough”
Denis White, senior director at Hunt & Coombs Solicitors, said, “We are delighted to be joining forces with Balfour Law to strengthen our personal injury and civil litigation team. As a full service law firm, we will be able to provide Balfour Law clients with a wider range of specialist services, and with our own dedicated and professional practice support department, we can continue to offer the excellent client care and quality of service that Balfour Law clients have come to expect.
“The merger is a beneficial move for both law firms. Naina and her team have a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience, and their arrival fits well with our strategic plan for growth. We welcome Naina as a fellow director and look forward to exciting times ahead.”
The new personal injury and civil litigation team will operate from Hunt & Coombs’ existing Peterborough office on Thorpe Road and will continue under the ‘Hunt & Coombs Solicitors’ name.
