Peterborough to host international funding conference

BUSINESSES keen to find financial support to assist with their growth and innovation development are invited to attend a free conference taking place in Peterborough next month. The event, which is designed for companies looking for either private or public funding, will be hosted at KingsGate Conference Centre on Wednesday 21st May.

Delegates will have an excellent opportunity to meet a variety of local, national and European investors and financial institutions in a bid to find suitable funding to help them grow and commercialise their new products and services.

The conference will open with a keynote presentation from Crispin Moger, CEO of Marmalade, who will inspire delegates with the story of how he overcame growth challenges for his business by accessing new finance streams.

The event is part of InnoFun, an INTERREG IVC funded project in which economic development company, Opportunity Peterborough, is a partner, and is also supported by Enterprise Europe Network.

Samantha Demaio, project manager at Opportunity Peterborough and InnoFun conference organiser, said: “This event offers a fantastic opportunity for Peterborough businesses to access the vital funding they need to support future growth. The afternoon matchmaking session is particularly exciting because companies will have the chance to meet with potential funders to discuss their requirements further.”

The event is free to attend but registration is compulsory. For more information and to book, please visit: http://www.b2match.eu/innofun
