FORGET the TV boardroom antics and the back biting among ambitions candidates – when it comes to hiring new staff, one security firm has taken on its own apprentice.
Secura-Cam, based at Yaxley, has strengthened its already successful team with the appointment of 18-year-old Daniel Bailey.
Daniel, who lives in Yaxley, has recently achieved his City & Guilds qualification in Security Systems from Birmingham College with credits and a distinction.
He is now part of the Secura-Cam nine-strong team that provides is security alarm, CCTV, access control and fire alarm installation to homes and businesses across Cambridgeshire, East Anglia, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Norfolk and parts of London.
The company was established in 1996 and employing school leaver Daniel – coupled with a recent re-branding – is further demonstration of its growth and commitment to meeting customer demand.
Secura-Cam managing director Richard Joyce said: We are delighted to have taken Daniel on board and welcome him into the team. His achievements so far have demonstrated what an enthusiastic and hard-working young man he is – and he will fit perfectly into our existing team.”
No job is too big or small for the company whose list of over 1,000 domestic and commercial customers range from haulage yards, churches and farms to well-known retailers, the rich and famous – and even a local pet cemetery.
