NORWICH & Peterborough Building Society (N&P) are proud to announce their sponsorship of Peterborough’s very first zip slide event.

Organised by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire the event will give people the chance to zip slide 120 meters across Peterborough United Football ground at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour!

The event, on 24^th March 2013, will help to raise vital funds for the Wildlife Trust BCN’s work protecting rare habitat and species.  The Trust has ten nature reserves in Peterborough which are home to some fantastic species from Marsh harrier, badgers and great crested newts to orchids, Red kites and bluebells.

N&P have stepped up to sponsor the event to ensure that every penny raised will go directly towards supporting the Wildlife Trust’s work in caring for local wildlife.

“N&P is always looking for opportunities to support charities and good causes in the local area and our sponsorship of this event is a great way to start the year as we mean to go on,” said Nigel Smith N&P’s Branch Network Manager.
